Holders of Personalised Octopus and Bank Co-Brand Octopus Card on Mobile, users of Automatic Add Value Service (AAVS) are eligible for the Lost Octopus Reporting Service. When a Personalised Octopus or a Standard Octopus linked with AAVS is reported lost, a fee of HK$50 (inclusive of administrative fee and card cost) will be charged, deducting from the card deposit. For holders of the following, a fee of HK$20 will be charged:
- Personalised Sold Octopus
- Personalised Octopus on iPhone or Apple Watch / Huawei Pay Octopus / Smart Octopus in Samsung Pay / Octopus on Android
- Sold Octopus with AAVS
- Octopus on iPhone or Apple Watch / Huawei Pay Octopus / Smart Octopus in Samsung Pay / Octopus on Android with AAVS
Note:
- The report lost fee is not applicable to Bank Co-Brand Octopus Card on Mobile.
- If there is a card image applying to the lost Octopus Card on iPhone or Apple Watch, it will be automatically returned to "My Card Image" when report lost is successful, you may apply it to another Octopus Card on iPhone or Apple Watch. For details, please refer to FAQ on Octopus website.
