public transport is now
well served by Octopus.
Octopus is accepted
on almost every type
of public transport in
Hong Kong, from railways,
ferries, buses and maxicabs to
coaches and trams.

Transport-related Services Car parks
Over 400 car
parks are now accepting
Octopus for payment
of parking fees. These
car parks include those
from
MTR Property,
Sino Parking,
Swire
Properties,
The Link, Urban Parking
and Wilson Parking.
Parking Meter:
Octopus parking meters are already extended
to the whole of Hong Kong.

Retail
Over 16,000 outlets
are now accepting Octopus
as a payment option.
The coverage ranges from large chain stores to supermarkets, pharmacies, convenience stores, fast food shops and household stores.
Octopus plans to expand rapidly into other retail sectors to allow integration into daily lives.
Acquirers
To accelerate Octopus' expansion into the retail sector and bring greater convenience
to customers and retailers,
Octopus has appointed
Hang Seng Bank and
Union Cash Register
Company Limited as our acquirers
for retailers interested
in Octopus payment
services. Both companies
provide a one-stop
service
to
retailers
including equipment
purchase/rental and day-to-day
operation
support on Octopus
payment services.

Self Service
Octopus
is now accepted at over
9,000 photo booths,
photocopiers, kiosks
and vending machines.
These services will continue
to permeate
into other areas outside
of transport premises
such as offices, schools
and shopping malls.
