If you are the holder of a Personalised Octopus or are a user of AAVS, you can enjoy added security.
You should report the loss of your Octopus immediately by calling the Octopus Lost-card Hotline at 2266 2266, a 24-hour Interactive Voice Response System. Report the loss of your Octopus immediately to prevent unauthorised use and minimise your possible loss. Please note that once your Octopus is reported lost, it cannot be recovered.
You only need to bear:

the loss arising from unauthorised use of the lost Octopus, and any value auto-reloaded to it if it is linked with AAVS, during the first 6 hours after the loss being successfully reported. |

a non-refundable Lost-card Handling Fee of HK$20, and |
| (3) |
 |
the card cost of the lost Octopus of HK$30 if it is an On-Loan Octopus. |
We do not accept any other channels, such as fax or email, for reporting Octopus loss.
